John McCain pulls a John Kerry

John McCain pulled a John Kerry. Remember when Kerry said something like this, and wound up insulting every man and woman in uniform? McCain did something similar, but unlike Kerry, hurried to take take the heat rather than dodge it.

What he said: "We've wasted a lot of our most precious treasure, which is American lives, over there."

The key word is 'wasted'. This means those men and women, according to his words, meant nothing as they died. However, he responded humbly, "I should have used the word 'sacrificed,' as I have in the past."

Ironically, the Democratic National Committee was the one asking for an apology. Might be the Democrats are more pro-war than they are letting on.

What a long strange trip this is going to be.
